MAULDIN, Lillian C. Wheat
She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 30, 2010 at the age of 82. She was born November 23, 1927 in Mississippi, and was a long time resident of Baker, LA. In her elderly years, she enjoyed working at Sams Wholesale in the demo department. Lillian was a blessing and an inspiration to everyone she met. She was a kind, loving, caring and selfless wife, mother and grandmother who always had an invaluable piece of wisdom to pass on. Love is patient love is kind love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way it is not irritable or resentful it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. I Corinthians 13: 46. Her life always reflected the love of God through her willingness to serve others. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 59pm, and on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 from 11am until religious services at 1:30pm, conducted by Rev. Rocky Bezet of The Rock Church. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by husband Wilbur E. Mauldin two brothers, C.H. Causey wife Helen, and Earl Causey wife Peggy a sister, Rheva Hancock husband, Carl son, Larry Wheat wife, Nicole daughter, Sandra Spiess husband David stepdaughters, Carolyn Causey, Barbara Stein, Dianne Butler, Roxie Brown Patricia Boyd step daughterinlaw, Evelyn Seyfarth stepsons, Henry Mauldin, Roger Seyfarth Ray Seyfarth grandchildren, Dalton Madeline Wheat, Matthew Bambarger wife Elizabeth, Brittany Lavergne husband Phillip, and Dustin Hannah Speiss great grandchildren, Ella Porter Lavergne, and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Clayton Myrtis Causey first husband, Ford R. Wheat and a son, Kenneth W. Wheat.
