Mary Krumholt

Mary Louise Benoit Krumholt, 87 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 19, 2021. She entered this world on May 20, 1934, born to Celestine LaHaye Benoit and Alcee Benoit, in Krotz Springs, LA. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church for 52 years. She had a great involvement in the community with the Battered Womens' Shelter, as well as performing numerous acts of service for her community. She worked tirelessly on several church committees, including Senior Adults, Missions, and Funeral Foods.

Louise is survived by her sons, Ronnie Pierce (Devery), Randy Pierce, Roy Pierce, Darryl Krumholt, and Gary Krumholt; daughters, Cheryl Roach (Randy) and Tracey Raphael (Tim); grandchildren, Dara Horcasitas, Devyn Bertrand, William Pierce, Tiffany Bergeron, Whitney Fogleman, Cheree Stewart, Brittany Jenkins, Dustin Raphael, and Patsy Raphael; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Louise is preceded in death by her husbands, F.G. Krumholt and Troy Pierce; father, Alcee Benoit; mother, Celestine Benoit; brothers, A.J., Larry, and Harold; and sisters, Helen, Mildred, and Hazel.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Road, on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 10:00 AM until Funeral Service at 1:30 PM conducted by Reverend Glen Miers. The family requests that masks be worn inside the church.
