KIRKWOOD, Mary Hunt

A loving mother and grandmother, and a resident of Denham Springs, she passed away at 4:10am Friday, May 14, 2010 at her home. She was 62, and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at The Rock Church, 20810 Plank Road, Zachary, LA Monday, May 17, 2010 from 58pm and Tuesday, May 18, 2010 from 9am until religious services at 11am, conducted by the Rev. Rocky Bezet. Interment to follow in Kirkwood Family Cemetery, Zachary. Survived by her husband, Randy W. Kirkwood of Denham Springs her mother, May Hunt of Denham Springs daughter and soninlaw, Wanda Blake Theriot of Cut Off son, Ricky Pourciau of Denham Springs step daughter Nicole Lambert husband Shaun and stepson, Jeremy Kirkwood, all of Denham Springs three sisters and brothersinlaw, Kathy Danny Browning, Fran Larry Baker, and Chris Richie Mancuso four brothers and sistersinlaw, Ronnie Glenda Hunt, Bobby Marilyn Hunt, Steve Donna Hunt, and Donnie Cathi Hunt one granddaughter three grandsons two great granddaughters three stepgranddaughters 24 nieces nephews and 19 great nieces nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Amiss Hunt. Pallbearers are her two grandsons, Todd Hunter Jr and Ryan Hunter, and her four brothers, Ronnie, Bobby, Steve and Donnie Hunt. Mary was a talented seamstress, and loved shopping. She was a member of The Rock Church in Zachary, and would have graduated in June from Life Christian University with a B.A. in Christian Theology.
