Mary Kipp

A resident of Baker and a former resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Northridge Nursing Home. She was 98, born June 1, 1915 in Rockwall, Texas, and retired as Credit Manager for Olindes Furniture after 25 years of service. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 122pm. Graveside service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6305 Groom Road, Baker, at 2pm Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Don Perkins. Survived by two sons and daughtersinlaw, Donald and Louise Kipp of Livingston, Texas, and Wiley Glenn and Charlene Kipp of Baker four grandchildren, Stephanie Kipp Crawford and husband Brad, Heather Kipp, John Kipp and wife Katherine, and Robert Kipp five greatgrandchildren, Cody Reine, Bryce Crawford, Madison Price, Lauren Kipp, and Cayden Reine and three great friends, Carolyn Neal of Zachary, Audrey Brown of Baton Rouge, and Diane Carter of Baker. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lynn Kipp. Mary was a breast cancer survivor and an avid LSU football fan.
