A loving wife, mother and friend passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 19, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 62, born Jan. 10, 1949, in McComb, Miss. She was a resident of Central and a graduate of Denham Springs High School. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 21, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by her nephew, the Rev. Jason Allen, and the Rev. Mitch Minson. Cremation to follow. She is survived by her husband, Lucius P. Creighton daughter and soninlaw, Tina and Louis Moore two sons and daughterinlaw, Mike and Charmaine Pace and Don Pace mother, Verlie Johnson sisters, Loretta J. Markey and Kathy J. Martin brother, Bennie Johnson and wife Joyce stepchildren, Daryl Creighton, Lisa C. Wells and husband Kenneth, Eric Creighton and wife Christie, Brigette Tyrrell and husband Justin five grandchildren, Dusty Lott, Meredith Moore, Savannah Moore, Dalton Moore and Randee Pace eight stepgrandchildren, Felicia Broussard Tripp, Bill Broussard, Kenny Jones, Tyler Wells, Blaine Wells, Tayler Creighton, Nathan Creighton and Kara Creighton one greatgrandchild, Hannah Leigh Wascom and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, R.B. Johnson sister, Virginia J. Duncan nephews, J.L. and Trampas Hall brotherinlaw, Russell Markey. Pallbearers will be Dalton Moore, Kenny Wells, Tyler Wells, Blaine Wells, Nathan Creighton and Taylor Creighton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Central or ones favorite charity in her honor. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Central where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the choir.
