Martin Creel

Martin "Marty" Luther Creel, 58 years old, beloved husband and brother, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 8, 2018 at his home in Baker. He entered this world on June 4, 1960, born to Hilda and Wilmer Creel, in Bogalusa, LA. He retired from Barber Brothers Road Construction after many years of service.

Marty is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Susan Creel; 2 loving children, Zachary and Katlyn Graham; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Roger Creel and Lee Creel; 2 sisters, Sylvia Bailey and Juanita Bassett; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Marty is preceded in death by his father, Wilmer Creel; mother, Hilda Creel; and 2 brothers, Jerry Creel and Charles Creel.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Louisiana, on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Matt Hays. The graveside service and burial will follow at Jenkins Family Cemetery in Sheridan, Louisiana.
