Marion Taylor Derringer, 83 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, early Thursday morning, January 25, 2018. She entered this world on June 2, 1934, in Plaquemine, La. Marion was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Pride, LA., an avid gardener, a photographer, and care taker of friends of her community. Marion also loved to collect knick knacks, bake and she was an ice cream connoisseur. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Marion is survived by her 1st husband, James C. Taylor; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Denise Taylor, Tim and Debra Taylor, and Harold Taylor; daughter, Kimberly Taylor Rabalais; 7 grandchildren, Travis Taylor, Heather Taylor Banks, Timothy Taylor, Jr., Crystal Taylor, Buster Taylor, Anthony Armstrong, and Jessica Rabalais; 3 great-grandchildren, Taylor Pitre, Karsyn Pitre, and Braydon Banks; sister, Melba Landry Davis; two half-sisters, Shelia Granger and Gail Landry; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marion is preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Raymond Derringer; mother, Delta Landry Ourso; father, Ellis J. Landry; and brothers and sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA., on Friday, January 26, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, on Saturday, January 27, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend George Scruggs, Jr. The graveside service and burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
