Marie Richardson

A loving wife and mother, and a former substitute teacher at Baker High School, she passed away on Monday, April 23, 2012 at 2:10am at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 67, a resident of Baker, and a native of Somerville, Mass. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 from 58pm, and on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Donald Tabb. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by husband of 48 years, Ronald Richardson, Sr. of Baker two daughters, Tanya Herring of Baton Rouge, and Julie Fry of Shreveport two sons, Ronny Richardson Jr. of Lafayette, and Chad Richardson of Baton Rouge a sister, Patricia Staples of Baker a brother, Vincent Milligan of Baker and seven grandchildren, Tyler and Whitney Richardson, Cody Herring, Chandler Welborn, Adam Fry, and Peyton and Corey Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Milligan. Marie enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and visiting with friends.
