Marddie Jannise

Marddie Sue Mathis Jannise, 75 years old, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, was born on September 24,1945 to Bobbie Jackson Mathis and Carl Mathis in Pascagoula, MS. She was called to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 14, 2021 while surrounded by her loving family.
Sue is survived by her daughters, Angela "GiGi" Moak and husband Justin, Tina Leteff; son Curt Jannise Jr; grandchildren Chase Jannise, Darius Redondo, Gracie Jannise, Devin LeTeff and Roger LeTeff; sisters Brenda Childress and husband Terry, Patti Anderson and husband Mike; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Sue is preceded in death by her husband Joe Jannise Sr., father Carl Mathis, mother Bobbie Jackson Mathis Rushing, brother Robert Mathis, sister Betty Mathis and son in law Larry Leteff, Jr.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Moak, Mike Anderson, Casey Easterling, Terry Childress, Don Jannise and James Jannise.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Collin McClendon. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker, Louisiana.
