Lyal Taylor

A resident of Zachary and a native of Edgerton, Wisconsin, he died Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was 82, and a retired electrician with Crown Zellerbach. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Ernie Phelps. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by daughterinlaw, Annette Taylor of Zachary two grandsons, Brian Scott Taylor of Zachary, and Michael Anthony Taylor of Baton Rouge two greatgrandchildren, Elizabeth Lin Taylor and Logan James Taylor, both of Zachary a sister, Barbara Vail of Waterford, Wisconsin, and a brother, John Taylor of New Braunfels, Texas. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ruth Taylor son, Brian Charles Taylor greatgrandson, Landyn Scott Taylor and his parents, Gladys and Lyal William Taylor.
