A retired millwright, and a resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away on Monday, June 25, 2012 at his daughter, Mollys home. He was 66 and a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam Era. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 12pm until religious services in the chapel at 2pm, conducted by Rev. Richard Ullo. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by mother, Edith Rollins two daughters, Phoebe Veillion, and Molly Rollins McCarty five sisters, Connie Berry, Sue Farris, Brenda Watts, Nora Reed, and Bert Orillion a brother, James Rollins and five grandchildren, Seth and Ethan Veillion, Jesse Rollins, Savanna McCarty, and Mya London. Preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Rollins and his father, Emit Rollins. Pallbearers will be Jesse Rollins, Brad Ballard, Matthew McCarty, Drew Veillion, Jonathan Veillion, and David Morvant.
