Louis Freeman, Jr.

Louis Winston Freeman Jr., 47 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 30, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on February 25, 1974, born to Brenda and Louis Freeman, Sr., in Zachary, LA.

Jr. is survived by his loving parents, Louis Winston Freeman, Sr. and Brenda Gail Freeman; step-daughter, Morgan Matherne; 3 grandchildren, Isiah, Abigail, and Zoey Matherne; Uncles, Alvin (Marie) Wroten, Leo Freeman, and Jeff (Karla) Needham; Aunts, Joyce (Steve) Adams, Peggy (Paul) Merchant, Polly (Mike) Spring, Kay (Ralph) Williams, Cindy Roth; and numerous cousins.

Jr. is preceded in death by his uncle, Jerry Wayne (Pete) Freeman.

Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Merchant, Jeff Needham, Steve Adams, Danny Adams, Lee Wroten, Ben Allen, and Mike Spring.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Monday, January 3, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Mike Tippit. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
