Loretta Verbois

Like a beautiful flower admired by all - it too must drop its petals and die but not before fertilizing the ground for the next blooms.

Loretta Patt Verbois, born August 23, 1948, passed on to her Maker peacefully May 9, 2023. She was adored by her husband David Emile Verbois for 54 years. Together they built a beautiful life full of love and laughter. Anyone that knew her was better for it. She may have been small in stature but had a firecracker personality. When she told you to do something it was best for you to listen. She enjoyed traveling and spending quiet moments in her "Happy Place" at their home in St. Francisville.

She is survived by her husband, David Emile Verbois; children, Brad Verbois, Angela Banta (Blake Banta), Brandi Bergeron (Louis Bergeron); mother, Jean Juanita Patt; brother, Buster Patt; sisters; Karla Bradley, Roxanna Blalock; grandchildren, Kayla, Dylan, Benjamin, Brandi, Brian, Mia, Faith, and Emilee; great grandchildren, Brandon, Bella, Deklan, Zenli, and IndiRose "Oddie"; and loads of other family members and friends.

She is proceeded in death by her father, James Frank Patt; and brothers, Ronald and Darryl Patt

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday, May 11, 2023, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
