Lonnie Piper

Lonnie Lawrence Piper, 52 years old, beloved husband and father, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 19, 2018. He entered this world on July 22, 1966, born to John and Rosalie Piper, in Baton Rouge, La. Lonnie retired from the United States Army after 23 years of service.

Lonnie is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia "Cindi" Piper; sons, Steven Piper and wife, Megan, Brett Piper; daughter, Christina Piper Flores and husband, Kenneth; 2 grandchildren, Blake Piper and Lawson Flores; mother, Rosalie Piper; brothers, Johnny and Ronnie Piper; sister, Brenda Piper and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his father, John Piper Sr.; sister, Deborah Piper.

Pallbearers will be Steven Piper, Cody Rabalais, Johnny Piper, Ronnie Piper, Eddie Narro and Landon Piper.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, Baker, Louisiana, on Friday, December 21, 2018, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Deacon Shelley Joseph. The graveside service and burial will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery, in Zachary, Louisiana at 1:30 p.m.
