Lonie Chubb

Lonie L. Chubb, 79 years old, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 25, 2022, with his wife by his side. He entered this world on September 8, 1942, born to Nellie Ritchie Chubb and Roy Hamilton Chubb, in Sullivan, IN. He was a member of First Christian Church of Sullivan, Indiana. He honorably served in the Unite States Army. He enjoyed many things including sailing, taking his grandkids to the movies, car racing, traveling, messing around in his shop, and sitting in the quiet while enjoying nature.

Lonie is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Jeanne Gofourth Chubb; daughter, Tamara Baldwin and husband, Richard; son, Michael Chubb and wife, Karrie; grandchildren, Kristen and husband, Dave, Joshua, Steven and wife, Carleigh, Nicholas, and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Sophia, Liam, and Harper Kate; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Chubb, Sue Alsman and husband, Brad and Jane Gofourth; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lonie is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Jerry Chubb.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Monday, August 29, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Michael Mann and Richard Baldwin.
