Lisa Whitaker

Lisa Ann Plaisance Whitaker, 62 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Daughter, and Sister was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 16, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on July 18, 1959, born to Mary and Rouney "Sonny" Plaisance, in Clinton, LA. Her life revolved around her grandkids that she loved dearly.

Lisa is survived by her father, Rouney "Sonny" Plaisance; children, Tara Whitaker, John Whitaker and fiancé Misty Amedee, Mary Whitaker, and Melissa Morgan and husband William; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Joseph, Alyssa, Violet "formerly known as Trinity", Kindal, Kobe, William Jr., Lorelei, Izabella, Jakobi, Journey, and Maya; great-grandson, Waylon; special friends who she considered as her own children, Pamela, Bryan, Candace, Kimberly, and Kristy; brother, Jeff; sisters, Cyndi, Mary Lynn, Bridget, and Melissa; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Lisa is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Plaisance; daughter, Elizabeth Fletcher; and many other loved ones.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Monday, June 27, 2022 from 3:00 PM until the memorial service at 6:00 PM
