Linda Stockwell

Linda Farrell Amos Stockwell, 78 years old, beloved Mother and Grandmother, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 25, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on July 11, 1945, born to Rosalie and James Amos, in Corpus Christi, TX. She was a member of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. Linda was very quick-witted and always had a funny comeback to give, all while having a Dr. Pepper in hand.

Linda is survived by her daughters, DeAnne Sullivan (Drew), Danna Frederick (Rusty), and Dawn Theriot (Robbie); grandchildren, Dustin (Sarah), Deanna (James), Drake, Dash, Breanna and Tara; brothers, Russell "Buddy" (Barbel) and Dennis (Terri); sister, Carla; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her father, James Amos; and mother, Rosalie Amos.

Serving as pallbearers will be Drew Sullivan, Russell Frederick, Robbie Theriot, Dustin Frederick, Drake Theriot, and James Davis.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday June 27, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor Kevin Venable. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
