Linda Mckenzie

Linda Kay Dunaway McKenzie, 73 years old, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 21, 2022. She entered this world on August 25, 1948, born to Charlene and Burnell Dunaway, in Tylertown, MS. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Baker, Louisiana.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles McKenzie; daughters, Melody Breckenridge (Michael) and Leslie McCants; grandchildren, Leigha and Leon (L.J.) Myles, Trevor (Fiancé, Chloe), Darryn and Kobe Magee; brother, David Dunaway of Jayess, MS; sisters, Florene Rollins (Wayne) of Fernwood, MS and Ms. Deborah Pigott of McComb, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews

Linda is preceded in death by her daughter, Christie Lynn Magee, and her parents.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Arnold Austin. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
