Linda Achee Callender, born March 7, 1954, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ Friday, April 23, 2021 at her residence in Central, Louisiana.

Linda was a native of Baker spending her entire life in the northeast Baton Rouge area. She loved Jesus, spending time with her family, laughing, and having conversations (having not ever known a stranger). Her infectious smile and laugh were definitely her trademarks. She worked as a sales consultant for Dale Carnegie for the last 15 years and as a Mary Kay consultant for the last 30 years, both giving her opportunity to talk and share with countless others. Her family will miss her tremendously but know that she is enjoying complete healing now at the feet of Jesus.

She is survived by her daughter Jaime Callender Turner and husband (Davis), her grandchildren Elijah, Lucas, and Charley Turner (who knew her as Grammy), her mother Nell Achee, her sister Laura Metcalfe and husband (Gary), her sister in law Lelia Achee, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Charlie Achee and her brothers Gary Achee and Drew Achee.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Jason Easley and family friend, B.J. Baxley. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
