Leroy Vincent Heil

Joshua 1:9 I will be strong and courageous. I will not be terrified or discouraged for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go. Leroy Vincent Heil passed away peacefully, Friday, October 7, 2022 surrounded by family at the age of 80. He was a resident of St. Francisville, LA and retired from Ethyl Corporation and was later self-employed. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Leroy was a huge LSU fan, loved woodworking, golf and never met a stranger. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Ella Wood Heil; two sons David A. Heil (Tammy) and James B. Heil (Lorie); grandchildren Kerri, Zac, Levi, Jason, Jennifer, Jeremy, Gerald and 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Braud (Butch); brother Ray Heil (Beverly). He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Mark and Orelda King Heil; sons, Kenneth W. and Michael L. Heil; brothers, Teddy, Barry, Tommy and Leo Heil. He was loved by everyone that knew him and will be deeply missed by all. Family and friends are invited to attend the Internment on October 17, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary.
