Leonard Howell

Leonard Barry Howell, Sr., 87 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his family on, Friday, September 27, 2024. He entered this world on September 14, 1937, in Gulf Hammock, Florida. He retired as an electrician. 

Barry is survived by his son, Leonard "Len" Howell, Jr.; daughter, Pamela H. Linton; brother, Rudolph "Rudy" Howell, Jr.; eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Lucille Howell; father, Rudolph Howell, Sr.; wife, Louise Day Howell; daughters, Patricia "Pat" H. Bankston and Frances Hazlip; and sisters, Jean and Marlene. Pallbearers will be Jody Tullier, John Viator, Pat Linton, Chris Linton, Jeff Guillot, and Darren Pizzolato. 

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM.
