Leon Miller

Charles Leon Miller, 81 years old, beloved husband, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 13, 2018. He entered this world on July 26, 1937, born to Sally Anding and Decator Miller in Natchez, Mississippi. He was a graduate of Baker High School, class of 1956. Leon honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Gulf States Utilities after 34 years of service. He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church.

Leon is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy Miller.

Leon is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jodie Faye Guidry.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Road, Baton Rouge, on Monday, September 17, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend Glen Miers. The graveside service and burial will follow at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery.
