Leola "Lee" Breaux Kilpatrick

Lee Kilpatrick, 79, a resident of Baker, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She was a native of Crowley, and a retired substitute teacher in Baker schools. She also worked for the City of Baker at the Heritage Museum, and was active in Baker Council on Aging. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Baker, and Cruising Cajuns RV Club, and was a die-hard LSU and Saints fan.

Lee is survived by two sons, Richard "Chuck" Kilpatrick (wife, Terri), and Bryan L. Kilpatrick (wife Kelley); five grandchildren, Joshua Kilpatrick (wife Katie), Ayla Kilpatrick, Jessica Dunaway, Derek Trisler (wife Kelsey), and Justin Clingenpeel; and seven great-grandchildren, Aaden Kilpatrick, Loryan Kilpatrick, Kenzie McCune, Brock Dunaway, Kendall Trisler, Ryan Trisler, and Kegan Trisler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lee Kilpatrick; daughter, Phyllis Trisler; and her parents, Beatrice Smith and Ophy Breaux.

Visiting at First Baptist Church of Baker, 3213 Groom Road, Baker, on Monday, January 18 from 6-8pm, and will resume on Tuesday, January 19, from 8am until religious services at 10:00am, conducted by Rev. Jay Avance. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
