SCOTT, Leamon F.

A native of McClane, Texas, and a retired welder with Local 102, he passed away Friday, August 20, 2010 at his home in St. Amant. He was 69 and a US Marine Corp veteran. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 59pm, and Thursday, August 26, 2010 from noon until religious services in the chapel at 2pm, conducted by Brother Bullard Jones. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by a daughter and soninlaw, Cynthia Allen McMorris of Central, and their two children, Melanie Jeffery three sons and two daughtersinlaw, William Deborah Scott of Walker, and their five children, Angela, Christopher, William, Melissa Kevin Danny Mary Scott of Central and their two children, Chelsea Kadan and Donald Scott of St. Amant and his three children, Chastin, Corey Lauren stepfather, William E. Story of Denham Springs three sisters, Pat, Katy Linda two brothers, Max Bobby Scott and 13 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Scott mother, Eva Mae Story father, Paul Lee Scott, and a sister, Geraldine Brown. Pallbearers will be Chastin Scott, Corey Scott, Kevin Scott, Christopher Watson, Jerry Leiterman, Chuck Hagan and Jason Winters. Leamon enjoyed hunting and fishing, and will be sadly missed.
