Lawana Young

Lawana "Fay" Young, 77, beloved mother and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on August 17, 2016 at her home in Baton Rouge.

She leaves behind her, two sons, James "David" (Susan) Young and Chris (Kalyn) Young; sister Mary Ann Noland Brumley Wallace; seven grandchildren; and many close family and friends.

Fay is preceded in death by her husband, James David Young. Sr.; her parents, George Noland and Ceanie Reynolds Noland Thomas; and siblings Paul Wayne Noland, Hazel Caroline Noland McGowan, George Neil Noland, and Roger Kearney Noland.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, August 23, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until the celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m. Reverend Paul Crill will officiate the services. Graveside service and entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
