Larry Alexander

Larry Roger Alexander, 77 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 13, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on October 19, 1944, born to Laverne and Carl Alexander, in Fort Monroe, VA. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Baker, LA.

Larry is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Nora Beth Alexander; son, Timothy D. Alexander and wife, Mary; daughters, Morna Cotton and husband, Tony and Tiffany Laxson and husband, Jason; 5 grandchildren, Lia Alexander (Shane), Andrew Alexander, Jared Alexander (Lydia) and Lily Laxson, and Andi Grace Laxson; great grandchild; Tristan Johnson; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Laverne Alexander; and 2 sisters, Carolyn Alexander Pellegram and Dian Alexander Harrell.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Faith Baptist Church, 15880 Plank Road, Baker, LA, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 10:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Arnold Austin. A private graveside service and burial will follow at the Monticello City Cemetery, in Monticello, Mississippi.
