SALOOM, Kevin Paul
A loving father and friend to many, and a resident of Haltom City, Texas, he passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 at his home. He was 50, a native of Baton Rouge, and a US Navy Veteran having served on the USS Nimitz. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 59pm, and on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Deacon Willie Berthelot. Graveside services at 1:30pm Wed. at Port Hudson National Cemetery. Survived by a son, Clifton Dale Saloom a daughter, Lauren Margarette Saloom four brothers and three sistersinlaw, Robert Jr Bridget Saloom, Tom Pam Saloom, Steve Gayle Saloom, and Joey Saloom three sisters and a brotherinlaw, Mary Lydia Dennis Chadwick, Alice Lamar, and Charlotte Saloom three aunts, Alice McCormick, Joy Albright, and Kay husband Laurie Bertaut one uncle, Johnny Albright special friends, Barbara Pate, Wendy Saloom Shalyn Cole and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Saloom Sr. mother, Janie McCormick Saloom paternal grandparents, Camille J. Beulah Saloom maternal grandparents, Josephine Albright Jim McCormick two uncles, Raymond Saloom Sonny Albright two nieces, Angel Hamilton Katie Erwin a nephew, Michael Saloom and a cousin, Christopher Bertaut. Pallbearers will be John Hamilton, Steve Hamilton, Madison Lamar, Steve Saloom, Charles Bubba Pate, and Billy Norder. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Landry, Paul Pate, Chad Albright, Larry Hamilton, and Brandon Hamilton. Kevin never met a stranger, and will be missed by many.
