Kahne Kent Siffert

A resident of Baker and a native of Baton Rouge, she passed away Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center Bluebonnet. She was 52. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Friday, October 15, 2010 from 59pm, and Saturday, October 16, 2010 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 10am. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her companion, Steve Kemp of Baker her parents, Margaret Huey Kent of Pride a son, Tommy Ward wife Samantha of Natchitoches a sister, Kim Lamonte of Baker a brother, Karmon Kent wife Melissa of Pride a special cousin, Bobby Harris wife Karen of Pride two nephews, Jonathan Lamonte of Baton Rouge Brandon Kent of Pride two nieces, Alaina Kent of Pride Angie Kirby of Clinton, and two dogs, Cricket Belle. Preceded in death by a sister, Kay Smith and a nephew, Ryan Smith. Kahne loved life and the great outdoors. She enjoyed fishing, helping others, and having fun. She will be sadly missed.
