II Timothy 4:68. Joy was born on October 25, 1931 in Baton Rouge, La. and she went to meet her Savior on November 3, 2012, surrounded by her husband and loved ones. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Marshall Jenkins, two daughters and soninlaws, Marsha and Jerry Cockerham and Peggy and Rod Nichols, a daughter Janell Murphy and a son and daughterinlaw, Dennis and Terrie Jenkins, 15 grandchildren and 29 greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by a sister and brotherinlaw,Peggy and Jimmy Hayes of Huntsville, La., and a brother and sisterinlaw, Emmitt and Debbie McAdams. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.S. and Beatrice McAdams, a brother, T.S. McAdams Jr. and 4 sisters, Norrie Lee Tucker, Betty Faye Graves, Janey Mae Bagot and Abbie Kennedy. We will celebrate her life at Brownsfield Baptist Church, on Sunday November 4, 2012 from 5:008:00 pm with the celebration continuing at the church on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 9:00 am until services at 11:00. Services will be conducted by her pastor, Bro. Steve Bridges. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Marys House of Bread or to the charity of your choice.
