Joseph Rodriguez

A resident of Baton Rouge and native of Ponchatoula , Joseph passed away Wednesday January 23, 2013 at his residence at the age of 74. He was a retired pipe inspector with the Stupp Corporation with 42 years of service. Visiting 5:009:00 Friday evening at Baker Funeral Home and 9:0011:00 am Saturday with religious services at 11:00 conducted by Rev. Mike Morris. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Joseph is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Bailey Rodriguez, 3 daughters and sonsinlaw, Leslie Jo Schexnayder and husband Mark, Stacy Reine and husband Wayne, Kimberly Rodriguez and fiance Jonathan Freeman, 1 son, Daniel Keith Rodriguez and wife Christine. He is also survived by a very dear lifelong friend, Richard Ballow, 5 Grandchildren and 7 greatchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Margie Miller, sister, Mary Janice and brothers, Michael Ray and Wesley. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Schexnayder, Dwaylen Hooper, Joshua Hughes, Dustin McAlister, Jonathan Freeman, and Wayne Reine. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of The Carpenter HouseSt. Joseph Hospice and especially Bea LaFleur. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his honor may be made to the Baptist Childrens Home at 7200 Desiard St., Monroe, La. 71203.
