Joseph Campanile

Joseph A. Campanile, 81, of St. Francisville passed away on August 20, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Joe served our country in the United States Marine Corps and was a Carpenter by trade. Joe attended First Baptist Church in Baker. He loved fishing, watching animals in their natural habitat, feeding birds and deer and spending time with his family.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Seraphine “Josie” Campanile; and his sister, Yvonne Plauche.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Martha Campanile, 2 children, daughter, Dana Campanile; son, Kevin Campanile and his wife, Bianca; 4 grandchildren, Shae Fife and husband, Brennan, Landon Juge and wife, Alyssa, Luca Campanile and Sonny Campanile; 3 great-grandchildren, Brynn Fife, Gemma Juge and Porter Juge. He is also survived by 1 brother, Louis Campanile and wife, Mary; 2 sisters, Theresa Matthews, Betty Rogers and husband, Jim and a host of family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Jay Avance. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
