Joseph Braud, Jr.

A resident of Baker, he passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 70, and a native of Port Allen. Visiting at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church, 3235 Dalrymple Dr., Baton Rouge, on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 8am until religious services at 9:30am, conducted by Rev. Gary Peterson. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived by sons, Kirk, Randy, and Dewey Braud sister and brotherinlaw, Joyce and Junior Weber step daughter, Lisa Smith and husband, Dale stepson, Paul Patrick and numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Braud brothers, A.J. and Doug Braud and his parents, Lester and Ophelia Braud. Joe was a member of The Cross Lutheran Church.
