A resident of Zachary, Johnny Ray Burton, age 74, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 in the Butterfly WingBaton Rouge, LA.

Visiting hours will be observed 48pm on Thursday, August 14 and 910:45am Friday, August 15 at Baker Funeral HomeBaker, LA. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, August 15 from the Chapel of Baker Funeral HomeBaker, LA with his brother, Rev. William G. Billy Burton officiating. Interment and graveside services will follow in Hillcrest Memorial GardensBaker, LA.

Johnny was born April 27th, 1940 in Tylertown, MS to the late Adrian Lawrence Burton and Edna Chain Burton. He was a retired pipefitter, welder, and pipeliner for Local 198 and a veteran of the US Navy having served during Vietnam.

He is preceded in death by his parents wife, Sherry Kay Burton sisters, Helen, Anne, Mary, and Betty brothers, Jimmy and Roy.

Survivors are: daughter, Karen and Paul Deblieux sons, Byron and Crystal Burton, Darren and Peggy Burton, Brandon Burton sisters, Dorothy and Lucille brothers, William G. Billy and Gerald granddaughters, Bridget, Stephanie, and Crystin grandsons, Dustin, Johnny, Devin, Justin, and Dalton great grandchildren, Emma, Kynleigh, Kilyn, Gavin, Layna, and Jayce.
