John Munson

Born in St. Francisville on November 1, 1914, Mr. John died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 9:00am at Lane Regional Medical center in Zachary. He was 98, and a lifelong resident of Slaughter. Graveside services at Old Jackson Cemetery, Hwy. 10, Jackson, at 10am Monday, July 15, 2013, conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker. Survived by nephew, Charles Munson of St. Francisville and niece, Evelyn Williamson of Spring Island, North Carolina. Preceded in death by father, Judge Charles Lemon Munson, Sr. mother, Mabel Bradford Leake Munson and brother, Charles L. Munson, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Slaughter, PO Box 359, Slaughter, LA 70777.
