John Mitchell

John Earl Mitchell has gone to be with the Lord, Our Savior. He was born on October 16, 1992 and passed on November 6, 2020. He enjoyed trail rides, cook outs, and time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Hazel Dunn; siblings, Olga Short, Willie(Scarlett) Short, Aubrey(Dawn) Mitchell, Johnny(Sandi) Mitchell, and Jan(Mark) Matherne; his nieces and nephews, Brennan, Beaux, Hope, Ainsley, Lincoln, Morgan, Miranda, Megan, Kylee, Heather, Felicia, Destiny, Tanner, Tristan, and Schae; children close to his heart, Kaylee, Royalty, Delaney and Mason.

He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Mitchell; and sister Bonny Mitchell.

Pallbearers are his brothers, Willie and Johnny; nephews, Brennan and Beaux; friends, Donavan Ramirez, Travis Demby, and Steven Brumfield.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, on Friday, November 13, 2020, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Gary Corban. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.

We will be having a celebration of life following the services at the Baker Civic Club, 2640 N. Magnolia Dr. In Baker.
