John Kuhnell
John Stewart Kuhnell, III, resident of Baker, LA, passed away on February 25, 2021 at home with his family. He was 67 years old.
Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Bro. Gary Richerson at New Life Baptist Church in Baker on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM.
John is survived by his wife Jo Ann; son, Ian; brothers, William David Kuhnell (Ozona, TX), Mike Kuhnell and Tracy (Alexandria, LA); several nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.
John is retired from the Dept. of Corrections and Public Safety after 27 years of service. John was a founding member of New Life Baptist church. He had a strong assurance of his salvation, and was often heard saying, " It's only death. It's not like it's anything permanent".
