Joan Frizzell

Joan Hinson Frizzell, 88 years old, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 20, 2023. She entered this world on February 27, 1935, born to Cade and Natalie Hinson, in Houston, TX.

Joan is survived by her two sons, James Richard Frizzell and wife Elizabeth Carnie Frizzell of Slaughter, Randall Scott Frizzell and wife Angie Donice Frizzell of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren, Amber Frizzell Rabuck and husband Jon Rabuck, Meagan Frizzell Fabre and husband Ben Fabre, Jordan Travis Frizzell and wife Alexandra Lane Frizzell, and Kathryn Frizzell Hunt and husband Dylan Andrew Hunt.; and six great-grandchildren, Noah, Avery, and Owen Rabuck, Garrett and Evie Fabre, and Daisy Hunt; and 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, George "Travis" Frizzell; father, David Cade Hinson; mother, Natalie Howell Hinson; step-father, Homer Smith; and her infant son, Donald Travis Frizzell.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Friday, May 26th, 2023, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Billy Minyard. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
