Jessie Pop Triplett
A resident of Baker and a native of Leake County, Mississippi, Jessie passed away at his home on Thursday, July 31, 2014. He was 82, retired from Formosa Plastics, and served in the Korean War. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Sunday, August 3, from 37pm, and on Monday, August 4, from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 10am, conducted by Pastor David Murray. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Jessie is survived by three daughters, LaJean Farmer and husband Jeff Farmer, Sheila Triplett, and Dorothy Triplett Ball and husband Fred V. Ball 10 grandchildren, Jason Triplett, Jennifer Triplett Etheridge, Shante Lienemann, B.J. Lala, Jessica Jones, Jill Triplett, Jessica White, Justin Lee, Cody Ball, and Caleb Ball 10 great grandchildren, Daniel, Taylor, Chrissy, Lisa, Floyd, Hunter, Jordan, Braeden, Alyssa, and Jamie a brother, John Triplett and a sister, Kate Holland. He was preceded in death by his first wife Nona Skelton Triplett his second wife, Evangeline Himmel Triplett and a son, Jessie Triplett, Jr. Pallbearers will be Brian Liddell, Jeep Mouton, Clarence Owens, Jason Parker, Clay Fletcher, and Skipper Bennett.
