BYRD, Jeffrey B.
A retired electrician and a resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center Bluebonnet. He was 63 and a native of Eunice. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 from 11am until memorial service at 2pm. Survived by wife, Alice Birch Byrd of Baton Rouge mother, Mary Byrd of Addis two daughters, Faine Byrd Stevens husband Henry Whitey Stevens of Prairieville, and Chris Byrd of Mandeville stepson, John Weiner wife Michelle of Hudson, NC a sister, Elizabeth Byrd Thibodeaux of Addis a brother, Kenneth Byrd wife Gayle of Brusly three grandsons, Marshall Stevens, Derek Logue, Caleb Weiner and his three furry friends, J.R., Nadine, Doris. He was preceded in death by his father, Boyce Byrd, and an uncle, Harold Fuselier. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Jeff loved NASCAR, sports, hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
