You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13. A resident of Baker, she passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:15pm at her home. She was 78, and a native of Lottie. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 59pm, and on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 from 8am until religious services in the chapel at 10am, conducted by Rev. Danny Greig and Rev. Jimmy Robertson. Interment to follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge. Survived by a daughter and soninlaw, Donna and H.L. Smith, Jr. of Watson three sons and two daughtersinlaw, Darrell and Shannan White of St. Francisville, Barry and Wanda White of Norwood, and Gordon White of Zachary sister, Irene Louise Oliphant of Alexandria 12 grandchildren, Jason White, Daniel White, Josh White and wife Holly, Heather White, Amber Carruth and husband Daniel, Cody White, Chad White, Blakely White, Dustin White, Brian Smith and wife Jenny, Brad Smith and wife Gina, and Brett Smith 15 greatgrandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Danno, Lila, Karlie, Phoebe, Aiden, Kady Claire, Emilie, Piper, Nicholas, Brooklyn, Paige, Kaelyn, and Luke and a loving companion, her dog, Maggie, whom she loved like a child. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. White, Jr. a brother, Floyd Cochran two sisters, Dorothy Wilson and Jane Holland and her parents, Rafe and Delphine Cochran. Pallbearers will be Jason, Daniel, Josh, Chad, Dustin, and Cody White, and Nicholas Smith. Jeannette attended Port Allen High School, and was a member of Milldale Baptist Church.
