Jeanette Hanna

Jeanette Stubbs Hanna, 90, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on July 25, 1932, born to Pauline and Denmund Stubbs, in Pride, LA. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church.

Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Brenda Hanna Hofmeester and husband Barry; three sons, Brent and Jeanie Hanna, Gordon and Karen Hanna and Ricky and Sue Hanna; granddaughters, Blayr Hofmeester Drumm and husband Nathan, and Shawna Hanna; and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Aline Newman, Gladys Almond, and Eunice Toney; sister-in-law, Mattie Bell Stubbs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. Hanna; parents, Denmund and Pauline Glotz Stubbs; brothers, A.J. Stubbs and A.D. "Son" Stubbs; and granddaughters, Melissa Hanna and Stephanie Hanna Acaldo.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 22830 Liberty Road, Pride, LA on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Tim Norris. The graveside service and burial will follow at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
