Heaven has just welcomed one of the kindest, most loving men to have walked this earth. Honey, Dad, Paw Paw, you are so dearly missed. A U.S. Navy Veteran of the Cuban Crises, he was a retired Administrator with the Baker Post Office a resident of Baker and a native of Vicksburg, Ms. Wes passed away Thursday September 6, 2012 at Baton Rouge General Bluebonnet at the age of 71. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home 5:009:00 Sunday September 9, 2012 and on Monday from 9:00 until services at 11:00 am in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Corey Tullier. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with military honors. Survived by his wife, Reigh Ritchie, two daughters, Sherry R. Epperson and husband Doug and Kim R. McLin, one son James W. Rocky Ritchie Jr. and wife Brigette, sister, Patty Cooper and husband Jerry, four brothers, Wallace Ritchie, Troy Ritchie and wife Sue, Tommy Ritchie and wife Margie and Stan Ritchie and wife Lynn. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Donna Epperson, Ashley Epperson, Cameron Ritchie, Tina Pittman, Jeremy McLin and Bryan McLin and three greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and a son Michael W. Ritchie. He was a member of the VFW Post 4224 and was Past State Commander 19992000 and member of the Navy Club.
