James Patt

James Frank Patt, age 89, who was a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away Monday, March 7, 2016 at home with his wife and family.
J.F. Patt was a retired welder and pipefitter at Kaiser Aluminum and a member of Local 198. He served in WWII as a Seaman 2nd Class on USS LCI-221 in 1944. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Beasley Patt; two sons, Buster Patt (Debbie), Ronald Patt (Carol); three daughters, Lorretta Verbois (David), Roxanna Blalock (Chris), and Karla Bradley (Eddie); He was a Paw-Paw to 12 grandchildren; Brad and Janel Verbois, Angela and Blake Banta, Brandi and Louis Bergeron , Jeremy Patt, Bret and Andrea Patt, Jessica Patt, Jacqueline and Patrick Robertson, Laura and Jon Blalock Yeich, Abigail Blalock, Alayna and Alex Schroeder, Hilton Blalock, Dalton Bradley and their families; 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Darryl Wayne Patt.
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Baker Funeral Home, officiated by Ruben Clark with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Baker. Pallbearers will be Ronald Patt, Jeremy Patt, Brad Verbois, Hilton Blalock, Brett Patt and Eddie Bradley.
