James Guidry

James "Jimmy" Arlen Guidry Jr., 61 years old, beloved Father, Son, and Brother, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 10, 2020. He entered this world on November 25, 1959, born to Laura and James Guidry, Sr., in San Diego, CA. He was a resident of Baker, Louisiana. Jimmy graduated from Escondido High School where he played football. He retired as an auto mechanic from Midas Muffler.
Jimmy is survived by his son, Jason Ransom; mother, Laura Guidry; brothers, Ronald Mast, Larry Guidry and wife, Cecilia, and Russell Guidry; sister, Tammy Singleton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, James Arlen Guidry, Sr.; and sister in law, Tracey Mast.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Friday, December 18, 2020, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Matt Hays. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
