James Fergerson

James Donald "Jim" Fergerson, 83 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 1, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on June 1, 1938, born to Pearl and Willie Fergerson, in Moulton, AL. He was a long-time, faithful member of Zoar Baptist Church.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Charlotte Parker Fergerson; son; James Stephen “Steve” Fergerson and his wife Jami; daughter, Alicia Nicole McKeough and husband Matt; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, Willie Oscar Fergerson; mother, Pearl Hampton Fergerson; and a sister, Ellender Arkansas Fergerson.

Pallbearers will be Jason Dickson, Larry Stephens, Reggie McCue, Ronnie Pierce, Philip Parker, and Richard Parker.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Grover Stephens, Charles Watson, Joe Williams, Sandy Williams, Lesa Cox, W.T. "Bill" Winfield, and Mike Howell's Sunday School Class.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Zoar Baptist Church, 11848 Hooper Road, Central, LA on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Glen Miers. The graveside service and burial will follow at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery, in Central, Louisiana.
