Iris Stone

Iris Doreen Stone, a retired LPN, resident of Baker and native of Billesdon, England passed away Sept. 11, 2010 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center MidCity at the age of 83. Iris was an Ordained Eucharistic Minister with St. Augustine Episcopal Church for many years and enjoyed her service in taking communion to those who were unable to attend services. She will be so dearly missed by all her neighbors and friends whose lives she so sweetly touched. Graveside services at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on Tuesday September 14th at 11:00am, conducted by Fr. Stewart Cage. Iris is survived by her husband of 28 years, Colin G. Stone. She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
