Irene “Re’nee” Zacharchenko Cedotal, 73, was called home on February 12, 2021 at 2:18 AM. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and was a lifelong resident of Baker, Louisiana. Irene retired from the Feliciana Forensic Facility with 45 years of dedicated service. Irene’s greatest love in life was her two boys and grandchildren. She loved traveling for Bowling tournaments, watching her grandsons play baseball and seeing her granddaughter perform in the theatre. She was a member of the Baton Rouge Stamp Club, a dedicated supporter of the Boy’s Town Club and Wounded Warrior Project. She dedicated her life to her family and friends. Often refereed to by her bowling family as “Re’nee the Ringer”. She was truly beloved and will be missed by many.
Irene is survived by her two sons, Troy Cedotal and wife, Amy of St. Francisville, LA, and Terry Zacharchenko of Baker, LA; grandchildren, Kyle Cedotal and fiancé, Courtney of Lafayette, LA, Dylan and Calyn Cedotal of St. Francisville, LA; brother, Fredrick Zacharchenko of Cleveland, OH; nephews, Daniell and Scott Zacharchenko, and Greg Petricevic; and niece, Nicole Petricevic.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents, Max and Agnes Zacharchenko of Cleveland, OH; and sister, Olga Zacharchenko Petricevic of Mentor, OH.
Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd., Baker LA, on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the service at 2:00 PM officiated by Reverend Basil Wicker. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA.
