Hazel Jones

A former resident of Baker and native of Jonesville, she passed away Tuesday September 4, 2012 at Regency Place Nursing Home at the age of 89. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Saturday September 8, 2012, from 9am until religious services at 11:00am in the Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker. She is survived by six Daughters and Sonsinlaw: Katie Jones, JoAnn Davis, Carolyn Davis and husband Carson, Shirley McCollum and husband Wallace, Brenda Pierce and husband Dean and Nell DAntoni and husband Jerry, three Sons and Daughtersinlaw: Carlis David Jones and wife Pat of W. Monroe, Randy Paul Jones and wife Maria, and Douglas Jones. One Sister, Marie Ivey of Jackson, Ms. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren and 36 Greatgrandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by her Husband, Arthur Jones, parents, Thomas J. and Minnie E. Cowart Ellard, Daughter, Janice Jones, Son, Dennis Jones, and 2 Grandsons, Timothy and Stephen Jenkins and Soninlaw, Bill Davis. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons ,Christopher Lindsay, Matthew Lindsay, Derek Pinkley, John David DAntoni, Joseph DAntoni and Michael Jones. In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane, Suite A, Baton Rouge, La. 70810.
