Gwen Murphy

A resident of Denham Springs, she passed away Monday, March 04, 2013 at Golden Age Nursing Home. She was 74 and a native of Chataignier. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 59pm, and on Friday, March 8, 2013 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Lee Olsten. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Survived by husband, Ralph Murphy three daughters, Trish Johnson and husband Darrell, Becky Brumfield and husband Brett, and Karen Murphy and husband Ted Bliznak two sons, Mike Murphy and wife Linda, and Buck Murphy and wife Molly sister, Jenny Soileau 13 grandchildren, and 12 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Toby Murphy and parents, Milton and Burnella Prudhomme Sonnier. The family would like to thank the staff of Golden Age Nursing Home.
