Geralyn Penn

Geralyn Austen Penn, 73 years old, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 19, 2024. She entered this world on January 1, 1951, born to Mary and Jones Austen III, in Baton Rouge, LA.

Geralyn is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Charles Ray Penn; 3 sons, Glenn Sibley (Lisa), Scott Sibley (Melane), and Todd Sibley (Erika); 2 daughters, Jamie Hunt (Vaughn) and Jody Moffett (Jimmy); 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother; 1 sister; and a host of nieces and nephews. Geralyn is preceded in death by her parents; 1 grandson, and 2 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4826 Main Street, Zachary, LA on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the Rosary at 11:00 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM, officiated by Fr. Lamar Partin. The graveside service and burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
